In 2002 Jojo's mentor (The artist Robert Lenkiewicz), died suddenly. Lenkiewicz was a painter who touched the lives of thousands including Jojo's. Five years after his death Jojo wrote, produced and directed a play about his life.
Whilst researching the material for the play Jojo spoke to many people who knew Lenkiewicz and the idea for a book of photographs grew. Robert was into large scale projects so Jojo decided to track down 100 people who were drawn or painted by him. The photographer made a portrait of each and asked them to write about how their art work came to be made and what their relationship to the artist had been. In 2010 REMEMBERING ROBERT was self-published. A few years later the 1000 print run had sold out. In 2023 Kaya Gallery in Plymouth was licensed to produce a second edition.
