Combining photography with his 'doodling' Jojo builds imaginative scenes drawn from memory, play and intuition. These works, created with camera and paint, sit between autobiography and fiction, often with a touch of magical realism.​

 

The drawn elements might be the product of Jojo's inner child and so, in a way, he is co-authoring all these works with his younger self.
