APOLOGY FOR THE MALE GAZE was born of Jojo's continuing interest in the way masculinity is represented within fine art and contemporary society.
The series consists of 31 images specifically reflecting on, and reversing the MALE GAZE: the notion that in much of art history women have are presented as passive and often nude, while men have generally been represented as active and kept their clothes on.!
