This series looked at ancient myths and stories featuring those in-love, purposefully transposing them to an empty contemporary setting. The presence within each frame of a mobile phone both creates a discordance in the diegesis and a connecting device or portal between the present and the past.

Cephalus, was sleeping in the woods. Startled by a noise in the thicket he woke suddenly and threw his spear in the direction the noise w as com ing from . Instead of killing a wild animal he killed his wife, Procris, who was suspicious of his fidelity and had entered the woods to spy on him .
At least that’s what he said happened, there were no corroborative witnesses.
