In 2002 my mentor died suddenly. The artist Robert Lenkiewicz was no more. He was a painter who touched the lives of thousands including mine so five years after he had died I wrote, produced and directed a play about his life. My last foray as a theatre director. Whilst researching the material for the play i spoke to many people who knew him and the idea for a book of photographs occurred to me. I subsequently tracked down 100 people who were drawn or painted by him and asked each to write about how their art work came to be made and what their relationship to the artist. In 2010 I self published the book REMEMBERING ROBERT. A few years later the 1000 print run had sold out, and in 2023 I licensed Kaya Gallery to make a second edition of 250.
